Data Transfer Unit (DTU)

Fielded on a multitude of aircraft including the Pre-Block F-16, AIDC Indigenous Defence Fighter (IDF), and the Mitsubishi F2, the Data Transfer Unit is the on-aircraft receptacle that provides the interface between ITI’s removable Data Transfer Cartridge (DTC) and the aircraft.

The DTU was originally fielded by GE Aerospace and is currently supported by ITI Engineering under an exclusive license agreement with GE Aerospace. ITI can offer a form, fit, function, and interface (F3I) of the existing DTU, or an upgraded version tailored to specific user requirements.
