Derrick Lewis

Derrick Lewis is the Director, Airborne Systems, for ITI Engineering. Joining the company in 2022, Lewis is responsible for the strategic direction, growth and execution for ITI’s Airborne product portfolio. He directly reports to Kevin Speed, President of ITI, and is based in the Clearwater, Florida location. 

Lewis has over 25 years of experience in program and product management for large aerospace and defense companies. Prior to joining ITI, Lewis was a senior leader in program and product line management at GE Aerospace in their Pinellas Park, FL, location. He was responsible for product line strategy, growth and execution of GE Aerospace’s data transfer and recording business, which spanned a multitude of platforms, including the UH-60M, F-15, F-16, F-22, F-35 and classified unmanned aircraft systems. 

Lewis also held various roles of increasing responsibility in program management at DRS Technologies and Rockwell Collins. He successfully managed over $50M in international C4ISR programs at DRS Technologies and was responsible for multiple Airborne Communications programs at Collins Aerospace. 

Lewis holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Administrative Management and Marketing from Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
